In December 2018, BURN-IN invites you on a fantastic journey into the visual and verbal worlds of painter and graphic artist Petra Traxler-Pilgram and presents current works by the Austrian artist in the solo exhibition So oder so?!
Traxler-Pilgram skillfully makes her "moving figures" dance dynamically through everyday life, consciously using clichés, stereotypes and prejudices to communicate with the viewer on a meta-level. The "pigeonholing" helps to make the information overflow bearable. However, negative prejudices and clichés often also have a discriminatory effect and create mistrust and a bad climate.
The multiple image titles accentuate the image content, steer associations in different directions, emphasize the multidimensionality of the theme and illustrate the complexity of the series of works.

Thus, the works fit harmoniously into the BURN-IN exhibition series 2018/19, which, as an #ArtAmbassador, has set itself the ambitious goal of using artistic intervention to convey lasting impulses to those interested in art.
Traxler-Pilgram's works show that everything is a question of perspective. One way or the other! In the sense of the viewer or society!
