Petra Traxler-Pilgram shows with her moving figures (referring to Viennese Kinetism) that standing still does not only have to be scary and frightening, but can also provide an impetus for reflection and pause, and in many cases unleash enormous creative potential. The artist deliberately uses clichés, stereotypes and prejudices to communicate with the viewer on a meta-level. The multiple image titles accentuate the content of the images, steer associations in different directions, emphasize the multidimensionality of the theme and highlight the complexity of the mostly black-and-white picture stories. Three multiple titles - as a warm-up, so to speak, that have it all: Elefantous times, or (don't) think of the pink elephant | Melancholy or Weltschmerz or who has taken leave of their senses | Influencer or influenza? Dangerous virus or big cheese.
